The companies evaluated by Frost &Sullivan’s experts are assessed on 14 factors, including focus on customer, innovation adaptation, internal competence, quality systems, process complexity and progress towards flexibility and leanness

Diebold India, the operating subsidiary of Diebold, Incorporated, has received a highest category Platinum Award for Excellence in manufacturing under the engineering category for its Goa manufacturing unit at the 2009 India Manufacturing Excellence Awards.

Each year, Frost & Sullivan (the assessors for The Economic Times – India Manufacturing Excellence Awards) conducts the country’s largest on-site audit of manufacturing practices, and presents the India Manufacturing Excellence Award to recognize and applaud efforts of manufacturing companies towards achieving excellent-to-world-class manufacturing status. W.e.f 2009, Frost & Sullivan and The Economic Times have collaborated to jointly host the Indian Manufacturing Excellence Awards. The award program recognizes excellence in manufacturing practices that lead to higher levels of customer satisfaction and Return on Total Assets (ROTA).

Diebold’s plant in Goa is a state-of-the-art facility featuring the latest technological processes. The plant is certified for the requirements of  ISO 9001:2000 & ISO 14001:2004 (International Organization for Standardization certificates for Quality Management Systems & Environmental Management respectively) and OHSAS 18001:1999 (Occupational Hazard & Safety Assessment Series certification in the Integrated Management System)  -
